An ephemeral boutique for Meta's AI glasses, built as modules on Republican Street and installed overnight in a luxury mall walkway.

The Sketch
Meta's retail design set the look: a compact room with no straight lines, a curved walnut display wall that had to read as one continuous surface, and a colour that had to match a global brand standard exactly. Our job was to make that buildable in a shop and rebuildable on a concrete walkway between two open stores. Everything was drawn to break into modules a crew could carry in and assemble in a single night.
02 — The Sweat
The Sweat
The whole boutique went up in the shop first, in raw sheet stock, so every curve and reveal could be trued before a single finished panel was cut. Then the shell was painted to the brand blue and walnut veneer was laid over the compound curves of the display wall, matched so the grain runs unbroken around the corner. Slatted hardwood lines the side walls, lighting is integrated into the shelves, and the counter is a freestanding oval with a brushed metal top.

03 — The Reveal
The Reveal
Meta Lab opened at Ala Moana Center selling and demonstrating Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta HSTN and Oakley Meta Vanguard. It sits in the walkway beside Burberry, doors folded back, open to the mall from ten in the morning until eight at night.
